Comoptions:description:2001 bmw 740i "m" sport- mechanic certified -there are no mechanical issues withthis vehicle whatsoever. Everything works perfectly. Within the last month, the valve cover gaskets (both sides) were replaced andmobil 1 synthetic motor oil added. The oil pan gasket was also replaced. Ifthese gaskets are not replaced on a car this old, regardless of the mileage, therubber becomes hard and cracked and thereafter the car can leak oil. The lowercontrol arm was also replaced, as were the rear brake pads. Even the shocks inthe trunk were replaced. No expense was spared for any possible issue. Totalrepair cost: $4,288. 38! Drives extremely tight. Like a brand-new car. Theinterior and exterior are gorgeous. Smells wonderfully new. Wheels have no curb rash. Rare 7-series color - biarritzblau metallic(electric blue)low 66,900 miles! But not many came in this biarritzbalu metallic blue. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles and needs nothing!

I personally am a bmwmaster technician, and was fortunate enough to work on this model when it wasbrand new, and this car still drives and feels like it did when new, which iswhy i purchased it approximately 1 year ago when the opportunity arose, and haveput about 4000 miles on the car since that time. The previous owner put the bulkof the mileage on the car, as he traveled frequently between dallas and houstonweekly. From the condition of the car, he took extremely good care of it, andmaintained it very well throughout his ownership. At the time of my purchase, iperformed a full major service to the car, consisting of flushing the fluidsfrom the cooling system, power steering system, and brake system. I alsoperformed an engine oil and filter service with synthetic oil, replaced thetransmission fluid, filter and pan gasket, as well as replaced the fluid in thedifferential. The engine air filter, both under hood cabin filters and bothinterior a/c re-circulation filters were also replaced. During this checkup, ialso found that both rear upper control arms had a slight amount of play, andthey were replaced at this time, and a 4 wheel alignment performed. All 4 tiresare in excellent shape, are approximately a year old, and have almost no wear. As with any older car, there are a few blemishes, but none that detract from. Air Conditioning
