The 2nd owner of this car bought it from original ownerin 1993 – it had 66,000 miles on it then. I bought it from the 2nd owner in1996. I think it had just under 100,000 miles on it at the time. I replaced thegauge cluster at some point and didn’t keep track of the mileage. I’veprobably put on less than 15,000 miles. The current odometer reads 61,000 miles,but it is really around 115,000. The car has spent most of its life in storageas part of a car collection. The car had some winter driving before i got it. The bottoms of the doors were rusty so i put a pair of southern doors on it andhad the car painted the original color - dark red metallic. I think it was donewas in 1997 or 1998. The rockers and lower rear quarters were recently repaintedto repair a couple of paint blisters. Everything else nice and solid. There isone paint blister on the right rear wheel well and a couple blemishes in thehood. There are also a couple small tears in the upholstery. Years ago, thetransmission started slipping, so i had it rebuilt by general motors – theyput heavy duty clutches in it. I also had the motor freshened up. All power equipment and electrical inside the vehicle works perfectly.. The T-Top bags are included and show no wear. Ive included all documentation that the was presented to me with the car. There have been NO upgrades of ANY kind for ANY reason. The bumper fillers have been repainted due to factory fading. Totally RUST FREE, 3.8 turbo charged motor with original miles. The radio is aftermarket an it is missing one center cap. There is a dent in driver door (pic attached). This vehicle has a clean carfax with no prior accidents. This auction is for my baby. I have owned it for a number of years not. It has not been parked outside of my garage. I use it very sparingly. When i got it i did all the major services including the rear main seal and all of the fluids. I made sure that i have kept everything stock. I have upgraded the ecu for knock protection and i have upgraded the freon (which need to be recharged the air is not blowing cold right now). But, i always lover the buick grand national. But, i looked for a prefect car to keep stock. The only issues and they are minor are the air and the radio (it might be a simple fuse or just needs some lube on the electric antenna) and a minor chip on the trunk lid by the wing (maybe 1/2 inch) but, i include all of those to be totally accurate. The car is a used car from 1987 but it has been papered for as long as i have owned it and it looks like it has been that way since new. I was told there was an incident with the car when it was new. Apparently the original owners wife bumped into the drivers fender. Rather than fix it with bondo. It was expertly and prefect replaced with a brand new metal replacement and is perfect. I do was not able to see or even tell that there was anything done. It would complete very well is shows and has been a great member of my family. Unfortunatly i do not have the time to enjoy her like i wish i did. It is time to pass her on the another loving home.
